Great gig in Lorton

What a great weekend. Wonderful weather, more cake than you could possibly dream of, a chance to see a good chunk of my family, including the two latest additions Tom and Lily, a wonderful place to stay with my aunt and uncle and a fantastic gig in Lorton Church. Thanks to all the people who came along, and there were plenty of you. Brilliant. What a nice change to see a church full of people all dressed in their casual gear looking relaxed and cheerful. Maybe churches should be used for more social events and gatherings of the informal variety? It certainly seemed to breathe a real life into a beautiful building in the most picturesque of settings. And the weather was amazing. Clear, crisp, Autumn weather. Just the best combination of everything. And thanks to Dan, Gavin and Jonas who were on top form. Nice one. Here's to a return to Lorton at some time in the future. It was excellent.
