Direction of the taps
Well, I must be settling in at the Guildhall as I have now turned the taps in the ladies the right way on the last three visits. This might sound like a small feat to you but I have had some serious mishaps with excessive water jetting on turning the taps the wrong way over the last couple of weeks. Very embarrassing when one is trying to make an funky/cool/jazz cat type impression. Not sure my perspiring issue is helping with that and I'm worried that people are combining the excessive water jetting with the healthy glow and leaping to all the wrong conclusions. More Fat Face clothes and a new bag should sort that one out... only joking... well, sort of.
Glad to say that my 'blues' and 'blues, not blues' have not been laughed out of court. Certainly perked me up. Plus my head spinning has slowed to 33rpm from 78rpm when discussing harmony, largely thanks to the rather excellent Mr. Pete Churchill. Who says beige wearers aren't excellent human beings too? Plus we have an fab rhythm class with Trevor Tomkins which I actually look forward to. Tremendous.
I got the flat pack up. Just haven't managed to move all the stuff from my bedroom to the new 'office' - the hall. Wondering how many months this is going to take. I really hadn't gauged the fitting of everything else in with being a student. I'm quite sure I have more homework now than at any point during my education and I seem to have lost all capacity to fit things in. That would be things like washing, picking things up off the floor and remembering to order my tablets. All fairly liveable with except for the last which could become a bit of an issue if I don't get it sorted. I think I might have heard someone refer to it as real life or something.
We're lucky enough to have Troy Miller, ace drummer, heading our small band at the moment and he has written a fantastic tune called 'Searching' which I get to sing. Fantastic. Thanks Troy - I love it. You might see that one start to crop up if Troy lets me sing it on the 'outside'.
So, a few eight bar phrases to go before bedtime. Should be a matter of minutes... 120 or so.
