Manchester jazzed...now back to London

What a great week in Manchester. The Lowry, The Cinnamon Club and Matt & Phred's, all excellent. Great audiences - thanks for coming along, especially those of you who came back for more. It's very much appreciated! Gavin Barras, Dan Whieldon and Jonas Backman who make up the Gavin Barras trio were fantastic - check them out on www.gavinbarras.co.uk Most definitely worth going to see and hopefully I'll be getting them down to London before long. But hey, Mike Walker, guitarist extraordinaire - just excellent. Excellent bloke, excellent playing, excellent banter and excellent hugs.

There might even be a few snippets of recordings from the gigs which I can get onto the website if I find someone who can take over its management . Sorry again for the total lack of updating of gigs - not quite the service I was expecting. I'll be up an running again before long and in the meantime I'll send out the odd email to keep you updated.

Talking of upcoming gigs - SUNDAY 16th APRIL at The Bull's Head, Barnes. Come on down for a bit of Easter Sunday jazz. Kicks off at 8.30pm and it's £7. Bruno Heinen - piano, Henrik Jensen - bass and Andy Chapman - drums. Then I've got a great new gig at The Clapham Picture House, Venn Street, Clapham. That's THURSDAY 20th APRIL (check this link for more info http://www.picturehouses.co.uk/site/cinemas/Clapham/cafe-events.htm ) I'm doing a cosy duo gig with guitarist Kristian Borring. Great venue, great bar, comfy sofas and great hot chocolate to boot. Starts at 8pm and it's free. Really wanna see you.

Ok, that's it. Back to London tomorrow which means just one more gorgeous home cooked meal at Mum and Dad's. Mmmmm. Delicious.
